Our Portfolio

The company was established in June 1990 with its core business the distribution of textbooks, stationery and learning material with its secondary objective to train managers and teachers as well as conducting workshops.

The mission of the company is to supply in the needs of schools at the most competitive prices and delivering excellent service as well as being actively involved in social responsibility projects.

In 2007 the company expanded rapidly which warranted the appointment of an operational and marketing manager as well as 8 part-time labourers. Towards the end of 2011, the company used a diversification strategy to ensure sustainability and long term growth.

At the end of 2015, Maywil cc received the Book Stars Award from Pearson South Africa for being amongst its top 15 booksellers in the country.

In June 2020 it celebrated its 30th Anniversary

Maywil cc applies to the BBBEE Codes of Good Practice and is a Level Four Contributor to BEE.

Maywil cc is registered with the Gauteng Districts as a reputable supplier.
